Palmer's Project Objectives and Challenges
- The brick veneer wall of this 20-year-old home was pulling away from the framing of the house.
Solutions
- Digging out the concrete footings at the base of the wall and hydraulically screwing jack piers into the ground to lift the wall back into its proper position.
- To prevent future water entry behind the brick veneer wall, extra wood trim was installed and silicone caulking was done around the windowsills.
- This project was completed in an astonishing two days.
