The client wanted to create an outdoor living space to enjoy during the day and have a nice view of the lake. The space needed to provide protection from insects, hot direct sun, and a barbeque and entertaining area. A decision was made to screen in the existing deck, add a roof that tied into the existing house and build a step down side deck for entertaining and barbequing. The screened space was wired for TV, stereo, lighting and ceiling fan.

The project started in January and in spite of snow, ice, rain and cold it was finished on schedule. The addition tied into multiple rooflines on the existing house and matched perfectly with the original house structure. Many materials used in the project focused on minimizing future maintenance. The end result was a perfect outdoor living space that met all the needs of the client.
