This bonus room consisted of 650 square feet of unfinished walkout basement space. The space had originally been framed and plumbed for future upfit. Three large mirrored closets were designed at the left end of the room for maximizing storage and the mirrored doors enlarged and brightened the space.

The electrical and plumbing were completed. The walls and ceilings were sheet rocked and painted. Lighting was carefully planned to give this basement a daylight feel using 10 can lights. A black ceiling fan was installed for function and as an accent in the room. The French doors open to a 750 square foot deck built to extend this living space. The deck area provides great space for entertaining, houses a large sunken hot tub and makes an unusable part of the yard functional and pleasing as it looks over the wooded backyard. This functional, large bonus room addition added much needed fun space.
